Questions we've actually been asked
Why does Max upload my files when the free tools don’t?
Because the free tools run entirely in your browser, they can’t reliably handle long-running compression, OCR cleanup, or ZIP batches. Max uses queued server workers with per-user active-job limits. Files go to an isolated per-user bucket over HTTPS, processing runs, output comes back, and both input and output are deleted after 7 days. Nothing persists, nothing is read, nothing is trained on.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancellation is one click and takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle — you keep Max until then. No prorating, no surprise fees. After cancellation you drop back to the free tools with no data loss.
What about GST / invoicing?
For India: Razorpay handles GST and emails a proper tax invoice with our GSTIN automatically. International: Polar.sh is our Merchant of Record — they handle EU VAT, US sales tax, and any local indirect tax in 120+ countries, with a Polar invoice for accounting.
